Short Bio

I completed an elementary and secondary school in Kharkov, Ukraine, in 1992. In 1997, received a master degree (diploma of specialist, with honor) from Kharkov National University of Radio-Electronics (KNURE). In 2004, received a PhLic degree, and in 2007 a PhD degree (both with honor) from University of Jyväskylä, Finland.

Starting from 2004, participated in research projects run at the University of Jyväskylä: MoDPA (Mobile Design Patterns and Architectures, 2004-2006), Information Security Evaluation in SME (2006), SmarTop (Software Market Analysis: Case Telecom Operator Products, 2007-2008). At present, continue working at the University of Jyväskylä in several research projects (see below).
